United Players of the Week [May 19-20]
Emerson played extremely well over the weekend for the U8/U9 girls team! She was the key ball handler & playmaker, and really took control of the game. Emerson was also a huge goal scorer for the team & gave a tremendous overall effort. Congrats Emerson!
Brooke had 2 really outstanding games last weekend! She stepped up & played terrific both as center-mid & striker, consistently making life difficult for the opponents with her speed & relentless effort! Brooke’s “never give up” attitude & versatility was on full display throughout both games. Congrats Brooke!
James had an all-around great game on Saturday! He played extremely well as the GK and was very strong on defense. James also scored a really nice goal which contributed to the team’s impressive win. Congrats James!
Matt continues to be a dominant force on defense for the U12’s! During Saturday’s game he, along with his teammates, shutdown their strong opponent, holding them to only 1 goal. Matt is an extremely hard worker, is very coachable, & consistently demonstrates his desire to become a better player. Congrats Matt!
United Players of the Week [May 12-13]
Abby really stepped up during the game over the weekend, with a strong first half in goal and being a force on defense in the second half. Her game speed and skills continue to improve and she is doing a great job in multiple roles on the team. Congrats Abby!
Abby has been consistently putting together great games in goal for the U12 girls this spring! Her efforts & courageousness were on full display this past weekend, making several key saves during the game. Abby’s ability to quickly adapt to the GK position has greatly contributed to the team’s very strong defensive unit. Congrats Abby!
Aiden has really asserted himself as a team leader, using both his voice & overall knowledge of the game to help the whole team. He has also displayed excellent versatility and is able to successfully adapt to playing new positions on the field. Congrats Aidan!
Justin had an all-around great game for the U14 boys this past weekend! He demonstrated excellent vision & ball distribution as well as fluent technique throughout the game. Congrats Justin!
United Players of the Week [May 5-6]
Abby continues to demonstrate her commitment to the team & coaching concepts both at practices and during games. During this weekend’s game she worked extremely hard and scored the game winning goal with only minutes left in the game! Congrats Abby!
Riley was dominant in 2 games over the weekend and was part of a defensive crew that allowed just 1 goal throughout both games! Her positive attitude and ability to adapt and apply coaching points is making her a steady force for the U14/U15 team this season. Congrats Riley!
Graeme had an all-around great game this weekend! He demonstrated a positive attitude and played extremely well on the field. He played tough and reliable defense, and his persistence on offense resulted in him scoring a great goal! Congrats Graeme!
Adam had an outstanding game in the back against a tough Merrimack team! He was very aggressive throughout the game and did a great job beating attackers to the ball and effectively positioning himself to limit the opponent’s offensive chances. Congrats Adam!
United Players of the Week [April 28-29]
Jordan had a standout game at striker! She worked extremely hard by hustling to every ball, and consistently creating great chances for the offense. Jordan was a constant threat to the opposing defense, highlighted by a ripped shot off the post, narrowly missing a great goal! Congrats Jordan!
Kayla was a steady force in the backline and did a great job disrupting the opposing offense. She controlled the game with her play as well as keeping the team organized with her voice. Her efforts really contributed towards the positive outcome of the game. Congrats Kayla!
Collin had an outstanding game both as a goalkeeper as well as on the pitch! He demonstrated his ability to apply dribbling & passing concepts learned during the previous weeks practices. Collin had a great attitude and put forth maximum effort throughout the entire game. Congrats Collin!
Ryan had an overall great game both offensively & defensively for the U16 boys. He worked really hard and never gave up during the entirety of the match. His coaches & teammates were very appreciative of his efforts & positive attitude. Congrats Ryan!
